What made you try Metabolic Balance®?
I used to be a good handball player and trained almost every day. However, I was never slender. Following yet another knee injury, my doctor advised me to stop playing handball. I continued eating the same amount, but I wasn't doing the physical activity anymore to offset it, so the pointer on the scales just kept moving upwards.
How did you feel before Metabolic Balance®?
In the neurological clinic, where I was working in 2011, we had just got some new wheelchair scales. One day I just stood on and got the 'shock of my life'. After work, I drove home, emptied my fridge and started buying 'healthy' food. I was just eating quark and fruit. By starving myself I lost 5 kg but I didn't feel well.

A friend of mine recommended a Naturopath called Cornelia Salzman who introduced me to the concept of Metabolic Balance®.
How did you find the programme?
I started in October 2011 with a dress size of 52. Now I wear a size 40 and I have lost an incredible 66 kg. Without Metabolic Balance®, I would have missed out on my new vitality.
What is the biggest change since starting Metabolic Balance®?
Sport came back into my life. I go jogging three times a week and I play handball again in my sports club (successfully and without pain). I feel great! I am able to sleep through the night and my blood pressure, as well as my blood values are normal again. I am now more confident and appear more positive to others. I can stroll around the shops with my girlfriends without people looking at me, and now I don't have to worry about knocking things down with my backside!
